I am Marissa Ogletree, a graphic design student at Florida A&M University from Griffin Georgia. I specialize in editorial and layout design, creating work such as posters, magazine spreads, and booklets. My experience includes working as a designer for Journey Magazine and completing three semesters as a graphics intern with the FAMU Women’s Basketball Team.
I’m passionate about combining strong visuals with storytelling, and I continue to expand my creative approach across different
areas of design.
( About me )
My name is Marissa Ogletree, a graphic design student at Florida A&M University from Griffin. As a graphic design student, I find beauty in all forms of artistic expression, including music, theater, and visual art. I believe art functions as a translation of complex human emotions or the vivid image of soul that goes beyond language and explanation.
I am actively involved on campus through organizations such as National Society of Leadership and Success, Students Demand Action, TRIO, and a FAMU volunteer organization, while also working as a designer for Journey Magazine. I have also completed three semesters as a graphics intern with the FAMU Women’s Basketball Team, where I developed my skills in visual storytelling and design.
